TOP250 February: Race to the Finish
The current TOP250 will continue until Sunday. F3rt is still in the lead, but one should never underestimate the other PokerStrategy players currently in the Top10.
Our new Black Member f3rt seems unstoppable: in just 23 days of playing he has already accumulated 112,906 StrategyPoints. stronghawk is also well in the race: with 73,509 points he continues to occupy second place in the ranking.
The remaining PokerStrategy members are also doing well to hold on to their positions. As such infinity1000 is still clinging to his 3rd place.
He is still closely followed by trader and mstar991 however, who are just 2,000 points behind. Black Member loki managed to climb 3 places and is now 7th while endos moved up to 6th.
The race is not yet over though! The current TOP250 Promo, with the total prize pool of $100,000 will continue until Sunday. The small differences in points among the top 10 will certainly lead to a few more changes.
Now that we covered the overall Top 250, let's see what happened with our own community in the last week:
The top has remained pretty much unchanged since last week, as mcneil, twicet, overbe and trebory59 still lead the English community rankings.
However, the fight for the #1 spot is a close one, since mcneil is only 42 points ahead of twicet, so a winner is yet to be decided. Looking at the next part of the rankings, we see that dicumary has jumped two spots and is now ranked 5th (12,618).
smidlo is still in 6th place (12,553), just like last week, while frzl is down 3 spots to 8th place with 10,116. karmolll and wutes have left the Top 10, and bigant101 is now in 9th place, having accumulated 9,652 points. Also, say hello to two new players in our Top 10: swissace and vesolc have joined the rankings this week, having 11,019 and 9,567 points respectively. These points have ensured they get the 7th and 10th rank for this week but there is still time until Sunday and they could place even higher if they keep this up.
Due to problems on the side of the of the poker platforms there are sometimes be delays or gaps in our TOP250 ranking updates. We always try to acquire the missing data as quickly as possible and will also make you aware of where the current gaps are.
The current status is from the 23.02.2009. Currently delayed are: Betfair, Bwin, Cake Poker and PokerStars (Status 22.02.) as well as 888.com PacificPoker (Status 21.02. and Ladbrokespoker (Status 08.02.).
In this year as well, we will distribute at least $1,200,000 in bonuses within the TOP250 promotion alone. The top finisher of this month will, as usual, receive a $10,000 bonus. We wish all of our community members good luck and a successful January!
