TOP250 Promo October: DuneBuggy Vs. RiF
DuneBuggy has a reputation to defend. This month, he is once again at the top - followed by RiF and DrAction.
After his promotion wins in April, June and August, the legend says that 
DuneBuggy
only fights for the title of the TOP250 promo and for the prize money of $10,000 every other month. Sure enough, he hasn't let down our expectations as he is currently in the lead with 113,549 StrategyPoints.
However, you don't joke around with DuneBuggy's pursuer, RiF, who won the TOP250 promo for the second time in September. Currently, there is still a 29,000 StrategyPoints gap between DuneBuggy and RiF - but this doesn't mean much, as RiF broke every record in September with his incredible 186,906 SP's.
DrAction is also providing some serious competition. Last month, he finished third in the promotion, a rank he - at least currently - holds this month as well.
A lot of action is also taking place on ranks 4 to 10, and new names are appearing on the list: For instance, take garandou (rank 4) or Porkface (rank 10). As in the previous weeks, a member of the Russian community is also present: DrunkMaster is currently on rank 9 with 35,972 StrategyPoints.
However, the race is far from over as the promotion is still running for another ten days. Previous promotions have shown that anything is possible!
We regret the delay of the TOP250 promotion update in October, which was caused by data which was missing from some affiliated platforms!
However, we will now carry out regular updates, without regard to these circumstances.
In this case, the data of every platform is present up to October 19th 2008, except from Mansion Poker (which is complete up to October 18th 2008).
We always try to acquire the missing data as quickly as possible,
however there areproblems at times on the side of the poker
platforms, as recently seen with the switch of Mansion Poker to the
iPoker network. Of course, we will also notify you about existing gaps in the ranking if necessary.
From January to October, we will have given away almost one million dollars in bonuses
to our top players. To be precise: It's $940,000! The top finisher of
October will, as usual, receive a $10,000 bonus. We wish every
