"The Festival" goes online

From February 23 to March 10, the iPoker network will host an incredible €2,500,000 in prize pools, featuring a diverse range of events including NLHE and PLO tournaments, as well as PKOs, Mystery Bounties, and multi-flight competitions.

The year 2025 promises to be an exciting one with our partner iPoker and its network of affiliated operators, bringing plenty of action and opportunities for players. 

iPoker is thrilled to host The Festival Online for the second time, making it a key highlight of the 2025 Poker Campaign. This year, players can once again qualify online for live events in Rozvadov, Malta, and Bratislava. 

Before the action heats up at King's Casino in Rozvadov from June 6 to 16, 2025, The Festival Online kicks off this Sunday. iPoker will host two editions of the series—one next month and another this summer—offering players even more opportunities to compete on the virtual felt.

With a massive €2,500,000 guarantee, The Festival Online is gearing up to be the biggest edition yet, eclipsing last year’s €1.5M prize pool. From February 23 to March 10, 2025, players can look forward to five standout tournaments, complemented by daily highlight events for an action-packed series.

The lineup offers a well-balanced mix of classic NLHE and PLO events, alongside PKOs, Mystery Bounties, and multi-flight tournaments, ensuring a diverse and thrilling poker experience. Satellites are available at various buy-ins, starting as low as €0.20 and going up to €50, offering players multiple ways to qualify.

Additionally, select “THE FESTIVAL ONLINE” events will award entry tickets via exclusive flighted satellites for The Festival in Rozvadov 2025, giving players the chance to secure a full package for the live event:

• The €1 NLHE “THE FESTIVAL | €1,850 Package | D2” tournament offers an incredible opportunity, awarding three full packages for The Festival in Rozvadov 2025.
• The €3 NLHE Progressive Knockout Flight “THE FESTIVAL | €1,850 PCKG KO | D2” tournament will award two full packages for The Festival in Rozvadov 2025.

Now, let’s shift focus back to the virtual tables and the five standout highlights of 'The Festival Online':

• The €100,000 GTD “THE FESTIVAL ONLINE 02 | OPENER” with a €250 buy-in, taking place on Sunday, 23/02/2025.
• The €100,000 GTD “THE FESTIVAL ONLINE 25 | MYSTERY” with a €250 buy-in, scheduled for Sunday, 02/03/2025.
• The €100,000 GTD “THE FESTIVAL ONLINE 52 | CLOSER” with a €100 buy-in, happening on Sunday, 09/03/2025.
• The €150,000 GTD “THE FESTIVAL ONLINE | MAIN | D2” with a €250 buy-in, set for Monday, 10/03/2025.
• The €100,000 GTD “THE FESTIVAL ONLINE | MINI | D2” with a €55 buy-in, also on Monday, 10/03/2025.

Leaderboards:

To enhance the tournament experience, alongside the €2,500,000 in guaranteed prize money, players can compete for top spots on three different leaderboards—MTT, Twister, and Cash. These leaderboards offer an exciting range of rewards, including cash prizes, Twister tickets, entry tickets for The Festival in Rozvadov 2025 satellite events, and three €1,850 packages for The Festival in Rozvadov 2025. Players must opt in once during the Promotion Period, which starts on 23/02/2025 at 00:00 GMT and ends on 11/03/2025 at 06:00 GMT.

The MTT CHALLENGE is open for buy-ins ranging from €5 to €500. Points are awarded based on the following formula during the Promotion Period:

• Participate in a "THE FESTIVAL ONLINE" tournament: 2 leaderboard points.
• Eliminate a player in a "THE FESTIVAL ONLINE" PKO tournament: 5 leaderboard points.
• Finish in the top 20% of any "THE FESTIVAL ONLINE" tournament: 10 leaderboard points.
• Reach the money (ITM) in a "THE FESTIVAL ONLINE" tournament: 15 leaderboard points.
• Make it to the Final Table in a "THE FESTIVAL ONLINE" tournament: 25 leaderboard points.
• Win a "THE FESTIVAL ONLINE" tournament: 50 leaderboard points.

For the CASH GAME CHALLENGE, which applies to cash games with blinds ranging from €0.05/€0.10 to €2/€4 (excluding NLHE and PLO Heads-Up), players can earn leaderboard points during the Promotion Period by generating €1 in rake, which will grant them 1 leaderboard point. Please note that heads-up tables are excluded from this challenge.

In the TWISTER CHALLENGE, which covers buy-ins from €1 to €200, players can earn leaderboard points based on their multiplier on Twister tables during the Promotion Period. Here's how the points are awarded based on the multiplier:

• For a 2x multiplier: 1st place earns 20 points, 2nd place earns 10 points, and 3rd place earns 10 points.
• For a 3x multiplier: 1st place earns 10 points, 2nd place earns 5 points, and 3rd place earns 5 points.
• For a 5x multiplier: 1st place earns 8 points, 2nd place earns 4 points, and 3rd place earns 4 points.
• For an 8x multiplier: 1st place earns 6 points, 2nd place earns 3 points, and 3rd place earns 3 points.
• For a 50x multiplier or higher: 1st place earns 4 points, 2nd place earns 2 points, and 3rd place earns 2 points.

In the TWISTER CHALLENGE, players can earn 5 points for every €1 paid in Twister fees on tables with buy-ins ranging from €1 to €200 during the Promotion Period.
