The Rake Races in October
A new month, a new chance to win: The October rake races are just around the corner and we show you what you can expect. Besides the Top250 promotion, an additional six races are waiting for you at our partner rooms.
The rake races in September are close to an end, so it's time to give you a preview of the rake races in October. Besides our Top250 promotion, you can expect an additional six rake races in October.
Note: Once again, Poker Heaven has something special for you in October. From 03.10 to 10.10, you can participate in an exclusive PokerStrategy.com €5,000 rake race at the room.
Right after that, from 10.10 to 31.10, Poker Heaven will host a Poker Heaven exclusive €60,000 rake race, which means that only Poker Heaven players in the Boss Media Network will be able to participate. There will be two "break days" on Sunday the 17th and Sunday the 24th of October.

How do I take part?
In order to participate in these rake races, here is what you need to know:
- Goal: Earn as many StrategyPoints as possible until the end of the month
- Requirements: Open to all PokerStrategy.com members. All you need is a poker room account tracked to PokerStrategy.com. To participate in the €60,000 Poker Heaven Rake Race, you only need a Poker Heaven Account.
- Period: 01.10.2010 - 31.10.2010
- Registration: You do not need to register to take part in these rake races - you can participate just by having an account tracked to PokerStrategy.com. For Everest Poker, you need to enter the bonus code PSRACE. You only need to enter this code if you have not done so in the previous months.
What is a rake race?
In a rake race, the goal is to collect as many StrategyPoints as possible at a specific partner poker room of PokerStrategy.com. The players with the most StrategyPoints at the end of the month will get a share of the prize pool. The races normally run over the course of one month, though some of our partner rooms offer weekly races during the month.
To collect StrategyPoints, you simply need to be a PokerStrategy.com member and have a tracked account at the poker room where the rake race is taking place.
You can, of course, take part in several rake races at the same time. You can join in the rake races at any time to start earning StrategyPoints. However, the earlier you start, the higher your chances of winning are.
