The highlights of the WPT Winter Festival await!

Kick off 2024 with non-stop MTT action in the WPT Global Winter Festival featuring leaderboard races, freerolls and some of the best events still coming up, including a $400,000 Main Event.

2023 was concluded with some of the biggest live events of the year, but of course our partners at WPT Global haven't forgotten about all the online players out there, presenting their latest end-of-year series to keep everyone busy at the felt.

The WPT Global Winter Festival features more than $4 million in guarantees and is still running until January 14. There are buy-ins for all ranges, starting as low as $5.50, with a mix of Hold'em, Short Deck and PLO tournaments—and a chance to have your name etched on the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup if you are able to win the $3,500 WPT Winter Festival Championship, coming with a juicy guarantee of $400,000.

Every player making the money in a Winter Festival tournament receives points for a series-wide leaderboard race with prizes for the Top 200 at the end of the WPT Global Winter Festival, including a $12,400 WPT Passport package for an upcoming WPT live event, covering buy-in, travel and expenses.

On top of that, each Winter Festival tournament winner gets an entry in the Champion of Champions Freeroll where another $12,400 WPT Passport package is given away. And last but not least, everyone reaching a final table earns an entry into the Second Chance Freeroll where additional WPT Passport Qualifiers tickets are given away to the top finishers.

$400,000 Winter Main Event

Kicking off the fun on Christmas Eve, the first two flights of the $400,000 GTD Winter Main Event with a buy-in of $200 are due, accompanied by a $40,000 GTD Winter Mini Main Event with a buy-in of only $22. Multiple Day 1 flights are offered for both these events, with the final and decisive day of the Main Event taking place on January 14, while the Mini Main Event wraps up on January 13.

But there are many more highlights scheduled of course, including a multi-day $200,000 GTD WPT500 event with a $350 buy-in, or a $1,060 WPT Prime event with a $350,000 GTD—not forgetting the $3,500 WPT Championship that's included in the schedule as well, giving away another $400,000 GTD and the chance to etch your name onto the Mike Sexton WPT Champions Cup.
