Top 250 July: Caber Dominating, MaximumShark In Top 20
The second week of our Top 250 and Top Ten Jackpot for July is over and Caber took an impressive lead over the international rankings, while community member MaximumShark is still in Top 20.
The month of July brings you another set of monthly promotions, namely the Top 250 and the Top Ten Jackpot.
As you may already know, the Top Ten Jackpot promotion addresses the
best 10 players from each community, as they are racing for $1,750 and the Jackpot built by all communities over a period of 3 months, from May to July.
The Top 250 for July has started with a bang, as we had 8 English PokerStrategists in the international Top
250 last week and this week we still have 7 of our members there.
Just like last week, Diamond member maximumshark kept his lead, accumulating 26,157 StrategyPoints after two weeks. He is ranked 18th overall, which is definitely a nice spot for our community - keep it up!
Ranked second is smidlo, who went up one spot since last week as he now has 15,856 StrategyPoints and is ranked 66th overall. He traded places in our rankings with kaplanovic82, who now has 12,173 StrategyPoints.

Between the 1st and the 31st of July 2009, our English community
members will have the opportunity to show their skills and be rewarded
with up to $500. The ten PokerStrategists who have accumulated the most
points by the end of that period will get their share of the
$1,750 prize pool.
gotthebigfish losing the solid lead he had last week and falling to 5th place with 37,754 points, while caber is again the new leader with 75,556 StrategyPoints.
tomte999 is the runner-up this week again and he can barely keep up with this week's leader, as he has 45,976 StrategyPoints. However, that's good enough for a second spot for the moment, since the third place finisher at the end of week 2, diesereine, has 42,314 StrategyPoints.

Due to problems on the side of the of the poker platforms there are
sometimes be delays or gaps in our TOP 250 ranking updates. We always
try to acquire the missing data as quickly as possible and will also
make you aware of where the current gaps are.
In this case, the updates are as of 15.07.2009 and delayed are
Cake Poker and bwin (as of 14.07).
In July, the best 10 PokerStrategists from our community will play to get a share of the $1,750 prize pool.
In case one of our community members has managed to be both amongst the best 250 players of the TOP 250 promotion
and the Top Ten Jackpot promotion, he or she will receive the
higher prize of the two. The lower prize will go into our international
jackpot.

The Top Ten Jackpot Promotion will take place in all of our 14
communities and will be repeated also in July. The money which has gone into the jackpot in May, June and July will then be divided among the winners. The more players manage to finish within both the Top 10 of
their respective community and the overall Top 250, the bigger the
international jackpot will be.
Example: At the end of our Top Ten Jackpot promotion in March the jackpot was $6,800. If this amount will be collected as well in the months of May, June and July, the overall jackpot would be an astonishing $20,400!
After the end of the promotion we will have a lottery. Every
member
who has collected at least 3,000 StrategyPoints during one month
qualifies for lottery tickets, no matter if he is in one of
our TOP promotions or not.
Members who collect at least 3,000
StrategyPoints during one month will get one lottery ticket each, while members who collect
at least 7,500 StrategyPoints during one month will get two lottery tickets each.
Thereby, you will simultaneously reach the Platinum or Diamond status
respectively.
Example: If you collect 3,000 SP in May, 7,500 SP in June and 3,000 SP in July you will get a total of 4 tickets for the lottery.
5 of the lottery ticket holders will get their share of the
jackpot: 30% will go to number 1, 25% to number 2, 20% to number 3, 15% to number 4 and the remaining 10%
to number 5.
