The final PokerStars series of 2021 has been running all the way into the new year, coming to a close this weekend with three editions of the Main Event, seeing a total of $4.5M given away.
The buy-ins of the pinnacle tournaments of the Winter Series range from $55 to $5,200 and each one will be played from Sunday, January 9 at 19:05 CET onwards, with the following guarantees:
- Low: $55 buy-in, $1,000,000 GTD
- Medium: $530 buy-in, $1,500,000 GTD
- High: $5,200 buy-in, $2,000,000 GTD
Additionally, there is also a PLO Main Event scheduled for January 9 for all the fans of high-octane action with four starting cards, coming with a buy-in of $215 and $250K guaranteed.
Also coming to a close on Monday, the Phase Event of the Winter Series will see a prize pool of $1.25 million given away—with several Phase 1 chances for a buy-in of $109 still available to get into the final Phase 2.

Rewards of up to 65% Rakeback
While jumping into the Winter Series, don't forget that a new rewards system at PokerStars worth 65% rakeback was made available to all players.
Pokerstars Rewards scored a 78% jump in customer satisfaction for the 20% of players who tried it. The new system aims to be more generous and transparent.
You can get up to 65% rewards in the form of a baseline rakeback up to 25% and up to 40% more in the form of Monthly Challenges. All formats earn the same points including high stakes cash games, sports and casino.
The rewards are all fixed value rather than random, as per the previous Chests programme. It will still be in the form of Chests which are Blue, Bronze, Silver, Gold, Diamond and Black respectively.
