iPoker Lowers the Maximum Rake Cap
Good news for iPoker players - rake cap has been halved on designated additional tables on selected iPoker rooms. Titan Poker, William Hill, Mansion Poker and Poker770 are testing out this new Rake Break promotion for a limited time, so show them you love lower rake by playing more.
Playing on the iPoker network has never been more profitable now that Titan Poker, William Hill, Mansion Poker and Poker770 have lowered their rake cap. This Rake Break promotion mainly benefits high stakes players, but Fixed Limit and micro stakes No Limit players can also save some money.
The rake cap reduction is as follows:
| Table | Rake Cap Reduction |
| Fixed Limit Hold'em Tables | 50% discounted rake cap on all Rake Break tables* |
| No Limit Hold'em Tables | 50% discounted rake cap on Rake Break tables with blinds up to 0.05/0.1* |
| High Stakes NL Tables | reduced rake cap to $0.10 from stakes of $25/$50+ on Rake Break tables** |
*Note: The discounted rake at the designated tables will be done by lowering the maximum rake cap by 50%.
**Note: Every high stakes hand will have a set fee of $0.10. If the hand does not reach the flop then a fee will not be deducted from the pot, which is known as a 'No Flop - No Drop' policy.
Which tables apply? The Rake Break promotion is available at specially designated cash tables with 2-6 players.
Where can I find these tables? You can find the tables under the 'Special Offers' tab on the left-hand side of the poker software.
This is the first time the iPoker Network is trying such a promotion in which they are lowering the rake, which sends a clear message to players that the iPoker Network is going out of their way to try to accommodate the players' preferences.
If you like this promotion, show the iPoker Network by playing at their poker rooms - and who knows, maybe we'll see another promotion like this in the future.
How much can I save on low stakes? The amount you save highly depends on your playing style and whether you are a tight or aggressive player. One example is taken from our Poker School Manager who played 26,535 hands on NL4, equalling a total rake of $71. Only 22 hands reached the new rake cap, resulting in a net save of $1.23, a relative saving of 1.7%.
Extra reasons to play on the iPoker Network
Having lower rake also benefits the players participating in the William Hill Raked Hands Races because they can play more hands and pay half the amount of rake. Not to mention the races are divided by limits, which makes winning more achievable for FL and NL micro stakes.
