Following the €111,111 One Drop High Roller last week, the WSOP and One Drop announced the return of the Big One for One Drop in 2018.

Once again the $1 million buy-in tournament will be part of the World Series of Poker between July 15-17. It will be capped at 48 players and $111,111 of every buy-in will go to the charity.

Over $20 million has been raised for the One Drop charity in WSOP events, with almost $14 million of that coming directly from the $1 million buy-in event. The charity is fighting to provide access to safe clean water to communities all over the world.

King's Casino owner Leon Tsoukernik is the first official entrant of the event, the remaining 47 will be determined on a first come, first served, basis after making a $50,000 non-refundable deposit.

The first event of this kind was in 2012 and was won by Antonio Esfandiari for $18,346.673. The second in 2014 launched Daniel Colman onto the world stage when he won $15,306,668. A third invitational version for only recreational players with a €1 million buy-in was won by Elton Tsang in 2016 in Monaco for €11,111,111

Should the event increase its cap next year? Let us know in the comments:
