Amaya to rebrand as 'Stars Group'
We recap some stories you may have missed including Kevin Hart's biggest buy-in yet and a very fortunate misclick.
Amaya to become Stars Group
Amaya Gaming, the parent company of PokerStars, has announced its intention to rebrand as The Stars Group Inc, following a successful first quarter of 2017.
It also announced plans to move to Toronto from Montreal. Both decisions are subject to approval from shareholders next month.

Hart confirms for Super High Roller Bowl

A story that would have shocked last year but already seems commonplace now, comedian Kevin Hart has confirmed he will be playing the $300,000 Super High Roller Bowl at the end of the month.
The player cap was increased in this event to 56 and it has already sold out, guaranteeing a first prize of $6 million.
Now with the backing of PokerStars Hart will be the first celebrity to play the event, which will now be streamed online to a potentially much bigger audience than usual.
Oops, SCOOP title
British high stakes star Charlie 'Epiphany77' Carrel added his name to the growing list of players who have turned a misclick into a win last week.
Being more of a Hold'em guy he didn't mean to register for the $2,100 PLO event, but it eventually led to a $67,410 pay day and his second career SCOOP title.
Rail Fedor with Joey
If you want to get an idea of how people who knew they were registering for a PLO event play, last week Joe Ingram streamed himself commenting on his buddy Fedor Holz while he was at a SCOOP PLO final table:
