WSOP Championship events announced
As is now customary, details of the 2020 World Series of Poker are coming out in a drip feed fashion and last week we had details of the $10,000 Championship events this year (and the $50,000 Players Championship).
All the usual formats are in there this year and the big addition in 2020 is a $10,000 Online Championship at the WSOP.com site (which you can only play in the United States).

Toby Lewis goes back-to-back-to-back
There are too many high stakes live tournaments to report on every single winner but over in Melbourne we have just had an impressive treble.
British Pro Toby Lewis has just won a tournament at the Aussie Millions for the third year in a row. He defeated a field of 258 in the $2,500 Shot Clock event for A$148,030.
Last year he won a A$50,000 High Roller event there for A$818,054 and of course in 2018 he took down the Main Event for A$1,458,198. So three amazing starts to the year in a row for Lewis.
More generosity from the poker community
After a very generous donation from the Crown Casino, WPT Host Lynn Gilmartin has been rallying the poker community to help out the Australian wildfire cause.
Around A$65,000 has been raised so far with a target of A$100,000, which you can contribute to via the linked Facebook page below.
