Chris Brewer wins the $250,000 High Roller
Brewer captures his first bracelet in the biggest buy-in event of the Summer, taking the lead in the 2023 Money Rankings.
After Isaac Haxton won his first career bracelet, the 'best-player-without-a-bracelet' conversation moved on and one of the names brought up a lot was High Roller Chris Brewer.
It looks like we will have to find a new crusher without a WSOP title, as Brewer just won the biggest WSOP event of the year.
He defeated a stacked field in the $250,000 Super High Roller to capture the biggest prize of the year so far, $5,293,556, and of course the bracelet.

69 players entered the event and the final table featured Dan Smith, David Peters, and Chance Kornuth. It also featured a very controversial performance from Martin Kabrhel, more on that shortly at PokerStrategy.com.
Brewer has been knocking on the door of a major title for some time now after bossing the Super High Roller scene for the last two years. He now pulls ahead of Isaac Haxton on the 2023 money list with $9,020,894 in earnings this year alone.
