$2 Million Guaranteed at Borgata

The WPT stop at the Borgata Casino will feature the Championship event with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool. Borgata will also serve as a host to a 16-day tournament series.

Borgata has already proven to be a poker mecca on the East Coast of the United States, as it already hosted tournaments with $500,000 guaranteed and now it is taking one step further. From 9th to 24th of September, the Borgata Casino will host a $3,500 buy-in WPT Championship event with a $2 million guaranteed prize pool.

$1 Million awaits the champ?

The WPT Borgata  Championship event is on the verge of a great success, as players are already showing high interest for taking part in it. Borgata is still working on the payout structure and from what has been revealed thus far, it looks like the first place finisher will walk away with around $1 million in prize money.

The Championship event will not be the only one held at Borgata Casino, as there will also be a tournament series running across 16 days. The games included will be from NL Hold'em 6-handed to Seven-card Stud and even H.O.S.E. which is the East Coast equivalent to H.O.R.S.E.
