33 WSOP bracelets will be won at GGPoker this Summer
The site have also announced two circuit events and direct satellites to the live WSOP Main Event in Las Vegas.
The partnership between GGPoker and the World Series of Poker continues to grow as the two operators announced another year of joint ventures.
GGPoker will host online circuit events next month (stay tuned to PokerStrategy.com for more details on that) and also in the Winter. These will include, for the first time, online circuit rings being awarded to cash game players in a leaderboard.
Most notably, for the second year in a row, GGPoker will be the only place outside of the US where you can win an online WSOP bracelet. Between August 1 and September 12 a total of 33 bracelet events will take place on the site.
Main Event satellites at GGPoker
In addition GGPoker will host direct satellites to the World Series of Poker Main Event for the live festival which begins in September. This is the first time in a very long time that a site other than 888poker has offered qualifiers to the big one in Las Vegas.
Last year GGPoker hosted the International leg of the WSOP Main Event which led to Damian Salas being crowned the 2020 World Champion. It also controversially held an online WSOP Main Event which was won by Stoyan Madanzhiev. This led to a heated debate led by Madanzhiev about who the real Main Event champion was. No doubt GGPoker will not make their Championship event so ambiguous this time around.
