PokerStrategist Wins PokerStars Sunday Million

Russian PokerStrategy.com coach Peetoon took down a field of 8,190 players to secure the Sunday Million coveted trophy. For this great achievement, our member was rewarded with a cash prize of $232,362.11.

8,190 players registered for the most prestigious Sunday tournament: the PokerStars Sunday Million. These players generated a prize pool of $1,638,000, with the last1,170 finishers getting a share of the money.

Amongst the starting field was also our Russian MTT coach peetoon. He managed to reach the final table after a little over nine hours of play and did so with the largest chip stack.

It didn't take long and our PokerStrategist reached the heads-up stage. Him and his opponent FightnIrishh then made a deal, according to which $30,000 would be set aside for the winners and they would get the following prizes: $202,362.11 for Peetoon and $193,517.89 for FightnIrishh. The players agreed and the play resumed.

After only 20 hands, the heads-up came to a conclusion, with Peetoon coming on top. In the final hand of the tournament, both players checked a flop of .
