Full Tilt Poker Statement to Players, FTOPS to Return in December
Full Tilt Poker have given players fresh assurances in a communication with the poker world, confirming "normal access to Full Tilt player accounts" and "access to total balance without restriction". Meanwhile, Full Tilt's flagship tournament series is set to return on December 2.
Full Tilt Poker are currently e-mailing players ahead of the relaunch of the site on November 6.
The rebranded site wants returning players to be "secure in the knowledge that [Full Tilt Poker] is now backed by the same account security and game integrity that millions of PokerStars players have trusted for more than 10 years."
Funds safe, full account access
The statement also emphasised the safety of player money thanks to the PokerStars purchase of Full Tilt Poker, saying that the site "now operates under a license in Isle of Man, which is among the most trusted and rigorous e-gaming regulatory jurisdictions in the world. The Isle of Man maintains vigilant standards for ... particularly the safeguarding of player funds."
On November 6 when restoration of all non-US player accounts is completed and the site relaunches, all returning Full Tilt players will have:
• normal access to their Full Tilt Poker player account with your current password
• renewed access to all Full Tilt Poker real and play-money games
• access to their total balance without restriction, including withdrawals
FTOPS XXI: December 2 - 16
It was also revealed by Full Tilt Poker poker room manager, Shyam Markus, that the Full Tilt Online Poker Series XXI is scheduled to begin on December 2.
The quarterly tournament series was the highlight of Full Tilt Poker's tournament calendar, with buy-ins of three, four and five figures covering all poker variants.
FTOPS XIX took place in early 2011 and saw a first prize of over $1 million in the $640 Main Event, with the post-Black Friday FTOPS XX seeing a lower guarantee and a first prize of $350,000 in the Main Event.
Though the schedule for FTOPS XXI has not been confirmed, players can expect to look forward to a wide range of buy-in levels and poker disciplines as well as a large Main Event.
