Zinno denies Selbst at WPT Borgata Poker Open

Poker icon Vanessa Selbst narrowly missed out on a World Poker Tour title again last weekend.
She was pipped to the post heads-up by relative unknown Anthony Zinno of Boston, who took down a first prize of $825,099.
The WPT Borgata Poker Open in Atlantic City attracted 1,189 runners, which is a record for this event.
This is Selbt's second near miss at the WPT, having also come third in the WPT Five Diamond World Classic in 2011. She picked up $492,569 for her finish.

As well as the WPT, three other big tournaments concluded over the weekend.
The Unibet Open Cannes was won by Frenchman Quentin Lecomte, who outlasted 312 other players to bag the first prize of €100,000.
In the UK, Sunny Chattha captured his second GUKPT title in Manchester for £35,000 but Jeff Kimber and Shehbaz Hussain had more to smile about, both taking £43,000 each after a three-way deal.
Finally, 570 players made the trip to Panama for the latest edition of the Latin American Poker Tour, with local boy Galal Dahrouj taking down top honours for $132,535.
WCOOP latest
We are entering the final full week of the World Championship of Online Poker (WCOOP) after a furious weekend.
Martin 0piggybank Finger missed out on the $10,300 High Roller Heads-up event title, taking $163k for second after being beaten by Daniel "mrGR33N13" Colman, who took $172,500.
georgedanzer also missed out on WCOOP gold heads-up, losing to EPT champion Zimnan Zimyard in the $1,050 8-max event, in which 1,210 players entered and the top prize was $182,856.62.
Meanwhile Sunday's two big events have paused and are being resumed today; 111 players remain from the 8,313 starters in the $215 No Limit event last night, with $249,394 for the winner.
Also, the $2,100 No Limit event started with 1,437 runners and today 164 of the biggest names in the online game return for the $480,101 first prize.
These big names include Johnny Lodden, Elky, Randy "nanonoko" Lew, Lex Veldhuis, Kevin "KevBoyStar" Stani, Mike "Timex" McDonald, Kevin "Stammdogg" Stammen, Faraz "TheToilet-0" Jaka, Brynn Kenney, Marc " Frenchdawg" Ladouceur, Randal "RandALLin" Flowers, Kenny "SpaceyFCB" Hallaert and Steven "Zugwat" Silverman.
Last week was a huge week for Nicklas ragen Heinecker, who pocketed around $900,000 to put his overall profit up to over $3 million for the year.
Yesterday he capped the week off in style, winning $245,898 and being the biggest winner of the day alongside Ben Tollerene and Phil Ivey.
Alexander Kostritsyn was the biggest loser of the day, alongside big names like Phil Galfond, Daniel Cates and Patrik Antonius, who also had bad days.
