APT Macau: Top pros turn up on Day 1B
Chino Rheem, Chau Giang, John Juanda, J.C. Tran and Johnny Chan were among the contingent of top poker pros who turned up in the second opening day.

A number of top pros signed up for the second opening day but not many were left at the end of the day. Chino Rheem, David Akenhead, Chau Giang, John Juanda and Amnon Filipi were among the most notable casualties of the day.
Top pros get lucky to survive
Lady luck however was far kinder to Poker Pack member J.C. Tran and 2009 Aussie Millions champ Stewart Scott. Both of them had to come back from behind to win their hands when all their chips were pushed into the middle. Both will return in Day 2.

came up against a pair of kings. Scott however spiked an ace on the board of






At the end of the day, it was Eugene Teh who surged to the top of the leaderboard with 93,500 chips. Day 1A leader was further down in fifth place with his 86,200 chips. Those joining them in Day 2 include David Chiu, Steve Sung and poker legend Johnny Chan.
