Alex Foxen wins the $250,000 Super High Roller bracelet

After boycotting the WSOP last year Alex Foxen returns in fine style bagging one of the biggest prizes of the year and his first bracelet.

Another 'best without a bracelet' candidate gets the monkey off their back this year as Alex Foxen shipped the $250,000 Super High Roller event over the weekend.

He bested a final table that included Adrian Mateos, Phil Ivey and Player of the Year chaser Daniel Zack on his way to his first bracelet and $4,563,700.

Foxen is one of the biggest winning players in the nosebleed tournaments for some time now, however he famously boycotted the WSOP last year because of the mask and vaccine mandates. With those out of the way this year he was able to do what he does best, crush high stakes MTTs.

After the match Foxen commented that his next goal was to match his fiancée Kristen Bicknell who has three bracelets herself:

The event boasted 56 entries, one of whom was Daniel Negreanu who went 'poker viral' over the weekend when this video of him throwing his vlogging camera at the table when he bust out of the event:

He and most of the other nosebleed regulars will have a chance to get back in the action right away as the $50,000 Poker Players Championship is underway, a tournament many high stakes regulars consider to be the 'real' Main Event.

Position Player Prize
1st Alex Foxen $4,563,700
2nd Brandon Steven $2,820,581
3rd Chris Hunichen $1,931,718
4th Adrian Mateos $1,367,206
5th Sam Soverel $1,001,142
6th Martin Kabrhel $759,361
7th Phil Ivey $597,381
8th Dan Zack $488,095
