In today's Daily Rewind we see that another WSOP winner has fallen on hard times and had to pawn their bracelet, plus a poker player makes one hell of a sacrifice for his home game buddy.
Another WSOP bracelet on eBay
While hundreds of poker hopefuls are throwing thousands of dollars at the hope of winning one of these small pieces of jewellery, yet again someone is choosing to sell their WSOP bracelet on eBay.
This one is from the 2007 World Series of Poker and it has a suggested starting bid of $7,000.
The listing refers to it as a 'championship' bracelet, which suggests it could have been from one of the higher buy-in events, which were won by Eli Elezra, Chris Reslock, Allen Cunningham, Daniel Schreiber, John Guth, Robert Mizrachi and Erik Seidel that year.
There are currently no bids on this item, at the time of writing.
Poker player donates kidney to friend
A great advert for the game today as two long time poker friends show how the game can bring people closer together.
Colin Delahuntly will this week donate a kidney to his good friend Matt Doolin.
The two have been long time friends from the same poker home game in Florida.

Not so lucky new haircut for Vanessa
Three-time bracelet winner Vanessa Selbst clearly thinks that a distracting psychedelic haircut is the key to success in the two Super High Roller events at the WSOP this year. However, the strategy may need refining as she was one of the first players out of the Players Championship this week:

No bracelets were awarded last night as the $1,500 No Limit event was paused heads-up to return tonight. That will be contested between Jordan Morgan and Evan McNiff, with a first prize of $478,102.
Given the popularity of Super High Roller events at the moment it was a surprise that the $50,000 Players Championship only managed to attract 102 players, one of the events smallest ever fields. 56 remain with Jason Mercier leading a pack that still includes Jonathan Duhamel, Shaun Deeb, Phil Ivey and Doyle Brunson.
Just one new event starts today, the $1,500 Pot Limit Omaha Hi/Lo.

It is not a good omen for Jean-Robert Bellande this week, as he posted this high stakes hand from the Aria on Twitter.
He flopped a flush against a set, and agreed to run the river three times, only to find himself losing to two full houses and quads.
