Another record breaking WSOP event

The $25,000 PLO High Roller has the biggest ever PLO prize pool of all time and is the largest $25k field ever at the WSOP of any format.

We are less than a week away from the potentially biggest ever WSOP Main Event and another field size record has been smashed at the WSOP. 

The $25,000 PLO High Roller has officially attracted 449 players, creating a $10,551,000 prize pool and a first prize of $2,294,756. 

This is the biggest $25,000 High Roller ever at the WSOP, breaking the record that was smashed earlier this year in the event Isaac Haxton won. It is also the biggest prize pool ever for a PLO event.

It is quite remarkable that a PLO event has beaten a field size record made previously by a No Limit event, an excellent omen for the great game of Pot Limit Omaha. 

With records being broken in all formats and buy-in levels, it seems the only question is, by how much will the Main Event record be broken by this year?
