Chris Moorman wins 30th Online Triple Crown

Another landmark for the biggest MTT grinder in the game as Chris Moorman extends his PocketFives Triple Crown record.

April is shaping up to be a good month so far for Chris Moorman, who not only won the PocketFives Legacy Award at the Global Poker Awards, he has now extended one of his long standing accolades that led to that award in the first place. 

This week Moorman won his 30th PocketFives Online Triple Crown, putting him nine places ahead of his nearest rival Nicolas 'PokerKaiser' Fierro.

The Online Triple Crown is a long standing accolade for people who win three tournaments on different sites, with 100 players or more and a prize pool of at least $10,000, in a seven day period. It is a mark of consistency and volume, especially as most serious players don't even have one Triple Crown. 

In the last week he won the PokerStars Bigger $109 for $4,496, the $82 Warmup on partypoker for $5,970 and the $500 Extreme Tuesday High Roller on ACR for $14,125 to capture his 30th Triple.

Moorman's last Triple Crown was in August 2018 where he also won tournaments on PokerStars, ACR and partypoker. His achievement is particularly impressive considering he spends a lot of time in the US and is thus unable to play on most of the tracked sites a lot of the time. With a WSOP and WPT title he is also just an EPT away from the live version of the Triple Crown too.
