CoinPoker bans 98 bot accounts and refunds $150k to players
More details have been revealed about what CoinPoker does to tackle bots and collusion.
At a time when tensions are high about the threat of Bots in poker, CoinPoker have revealed more on what they are doing to combat them.
Yesterday, they revealed that 98 bot accounts have been banned on the site and $154,446 has been refunded to the affected players:

The site thanked the players who had reported concerns to their security team, saying it was an integral part of how they catch cheats.
They also stated quite a lofty goal, to make it close to impossible for a bot to run on the platform by the end of quarter 2 this year.
The most "human" site?
This news comes hot on the heels of Martin Zamani sharing a video of a Botfarm at Bovada/Ignition, something which the CoinPoker X account replied to with more details on their own policy for dealing with bots:

The X account shared a CoinPoker post on 2+2, which revealed they are arguably too quick to ban suspected bots and collusion, citing feedback from a high stakes regular saying that all the players in the games were recognisable as known human players.
CoinPoker has been surprisingly forthcoming when it comes to sharing how they deal with suspected cheaters. Most poker rooms remain understandably guarded about their detection methods and policies, so as to not tip off potential cheaters.
Back in November, Mario Mosbock called out an RTA user on the site and showed receipts from a Fair Play Check. In October, they banned a number of players for using seating scripts, and last year they received positive attention when it was revealed that it's impossible to have GTO Wizard and CoinPoker open at the same time.
