Real Madrid star follows La Liga colleague Neymar into the family at the world's largest site.
We suspected it might be on the horizon when he posted a PokerStars branded shot of himself playing poker on Instagram recently, and today it has been confirmed that Cristiano Ronaldo has joined the ranks at the world's largest site.
The Portuguese Real Madrid footballing icon joins the likes of on-field rival in Brazilian Barcelona forward Neymar, his namesake in Brazilian World Cup hero Ronaldo, and Spanish tennis megastar Rafael Nadal on what is becoming an incredible line up of Team Sports Stars.
"I'm very happy to be a part of the PokerStars team", he says in the sponsored video displayed below.
"I love to play poker, it's a fantastic game to play with friends, family, with everyone, and to challenge the best players in poker for me is a present. It will be fun!"
