Following the leaked conversation between Russ Hamilton and other senior figures at Ultimate Bet, Annie Duke has clarified that she was not part of the cheating scandal.
In a recent Facebook post the former UB pro stated that she regrets working with the cheaters and that she never exploited a hole card feature designed to show hands during TV commentary.
Much of Annie's statement centres on addressing Hamilton's comment that, "she [Annie] used it on a 15 minute delay quite a few times".
According to Annie she never exploited this feature for real-time play and it is clear UB management were "trying to concoct a story to cover up what they did".

WPT finale Day 2

The registration book finally closed at the WPT World Championships yesterday and when the final numbers were in a total of 146 entrance fees had been collected.
Throughout Day 2 a number of pros chose to re-enter which helped push the prizepool to $3,540,500 and the top prize to $1,150,297.
While chips changed hands, a number of pros failed to keep hold of their stacks as the likes of Jake Cody, Antonio Esfandiari and Mike Linster all moved into the top five chip counts.
Finishing the day in command was Linster with 744,000 chips; however, it was Jake Cody who was named the player of the day.
Despite being on a tough table, Jake was able to eliminate the likes of Phil Ivey on his way to bagging up 453,400 chips at the close of play.
When the tournament clock was finally stopped 67 players were left chasing the chip leaders, including Faraz Jaka (385,300), Phil Hellmuth (307,000) and Daniel Negreanu (124,000).
Deeb dominating SCOOP

Shaun Deeb put in another impressive SCOOP performance over the weekend to move into second place on the overall performance leaderboard.
While PokerStrategist 'georgedanzer' is currently in fourth place with 350 points just behind George "JORJ95" Lind (370), it's Deeb (385) who looks like the biggest threat to current leader: "ninototoroko" (395).
Indeed, hard fought battle against Florian 'fa_morgoth' Langmann in Event #23-M netted Deeb $63,463 as well as another 80 points for his second place finish.
That finish took his 2013 SCOOP winnings to $109,919, but with 20 events still left to play and a record-breaking sixth title within his reach it's likely that haul will increase over the next few days.

Another day of nosebleed action saw Hac "trex313" Dang top yesterday's high stakes leaderboard with a profit of $684,771.
After grinding through 1,306 hands, the American pro finished comfortably ahead of the day's second best player: Kyle "KPR16" Ray ($302,628).
In contrast to Dang and continuing his trend of spectacular highs and lows was Viktor "Isildur1" Blom.
A rough session saw the Swede drop $835,499 to finish the day ahead of Phil "OMGClayAiken" Galfond (-$247,026), Tom "durrrr" Dwan (-$196,665) and Jens 'jenskyllonen' Kyllonen (-$158,894).
Daily Signoff
Annie Duke and Phil Hellmuth might have been representatives of the same poker site, but in this clip Hellmuth certainly wasn't happy with his UB teammate.
