More gun tragedy in the US this weekend as two people were left dead in a Casino shooting.
A man shot and killed a female and then turned the gun on himself at the Excalibur Hotel and Casino on Friday night.
The woman was a vendor for travel website VEGAS.com working at the hotel's registration desk.
A preliminary investigation suggested the two deceased people had a previous dating relationship, but as yet neither of them have been identified.
Vegas is usually very safe because it has a heavy security presence, however with the tragedy in Newtown taking place the same day, there was a real sense of nervousness on the Las Vegas strip among the tourists interviewed by mainstream media.
