Negreanu deep in LAPT Grand Final
It is his first time in Brazil and things are going well for Daniel Negreanu in the PokerStars Latin America Poker Tour Grand Final in São Paulo. 367 players started in the $4,000 main event on Friday, and Negreanu is now in the final 24, sat in 10th place with 398,000 chips - the overall leader is Caio Pimenta with 607,000.
They will play down to a final table today, and a winner will be crowned on Monday, with a first prize of $324,600. Victory in Brazil would cap off a big week for Negreanu, as he has really got the poker world talking with his now infamous video rant at Howard Lederer, Chris Ferguson, and Ray Bitar.

Zynga enter partnership with slots developer
Social gaming giant Zynga has agreed its first partnership with a licensed gambling operator. Slingo is a company that develops bingo and slots games, and has become Zynga Slingo with immediate effect.
Zynga Slingo does not offer real-money games, however, Slingo does offer real-money gambling in land based casinos in the US.
Naturally this has increased the ongoing speculation that it is only a matter of time before the hugely popular Zynga Poker product will partner with a licensed gambling operator.

List of Nevada online poker applications
Card Player has obtained a list of the companies who have applied to offer real-money online poker in the State of Nevada. The latest application is APEC Interactive LLC, the company which owns the Stratosphere Hotel Casino in Las Vegas, and who are now looking to become an operator.
That takes the list up to 14 applicants. The list includes existing online poker network 888 holdings and Shuffle Master, who are rumoured to be buying the OnGame network.
