Negreanu and the chair
Despite PokerStrategist olekonjole dominating the early action during this year's EPT Barcelona High Roller, it was Daniel Negreanu who dominated yesterday's headlines.
According to reports, Daniel's hand was mucked midway through the session because, instead of being seated in his chair, he was standing behind it talking to philgruissem.
In accordance with the TDA's first card off the deck rule Daniel's hand was declared dead, but that's not where the matter ended.
After sternly protesting the decision Daniel eventually lost his temper and announced: "F**k it. I'm all-in blind". Throwing his chips into the middle he then watched as Timothy Adams' pocket sevens bested his 
, leaving him with no choice but to leave the casino and tweet his frustrations:
"The first card off the deck rule is so poorly enforced it makes me not even want to play! So absurdly anti player and customer service!"
After taking some time to cool down Daniel eventually re-entered the tournament for €10,000, but not before hoisting his chair aloft in protest of the new rule.

In the last 24 hours it's emerged that a number of players at EPT Barcelona have potentially had their online poker accounts compromised.
According to jenskyllonen, a strange incident involving his and Ignat "0human0" Liviu's laptops occurred at the Hotel Arts.
Apparently the electronic keys for Kyllonen's room had been deactivated and by the time he managed to gain access their laptops were missing.
The high stakes pro immediately went to report the theft, but by the time he returned to his room the laptops had been returned.
Suspecting the computers had been infected with a Trojan, Kyllonen made the information public and minutes later PokerStars' Lee Jones confirmed that there had been more victims.
As yet it's unclear how many computers were taken but PokerStars has apologised and is doing everything possible to catch the perpetrators.

Poker Night in America
It's been billed as the next generation of TV poker and thanks to the guys at QuadJacks we're able to get a behind-the-scenes look at Poker Night in America.
Featuring some of the game's best known players, the show has been designed to focus on poker personalities rather than serious action.
Indeed, it's clear the cast has been chosen for the amount they talk; something which should be entertaining for the masses.
Yesterday's action saw Alexander "IReadYrSoul" Millar top the high stakes chart with a $415,991 win.
After grinding through 2,293 hands the British pro was able to finish ahead of the day's other top performers: Isaac "luvtheWNBA" Haxton ($267,837), "kagome kagome" ($227,211) and "d2themfi" ($152,301).
Feeling the force of negative variance in the last 24 hours was two of the game's best players: Viktor "Isildur1" Blom and Phil Galfond.
While the former topped the loss table with a deficit of $521,261, Galfond completed a recent $1,100,000 downswing with a $236,139 defeat.
