PokerTracker has just released a major update designed to help players gather statistical data at anonymous tables.
Version 4.08 also contains a number of updates to existing features, such as improved Omaha equity calculations and the ability to construct ranges using wildcards.
Additionally a preferred seat setting and Run It Twice options are now supported in the software's hand history replayer.
However, the most significant change is the addition of a new table selection window that appears when a HUD cannot be automatically placed.
This feature will help grinders gather stats on players at tables without a unique ID and where player names are hidden.

PokerStars' SCOOP has crowned some more high profile winners recently in the form of Thor Hansen and PokerStrategist George 'georgedanzer' Danzer.
While Hansen might be one of poker's elder statesmen, he hasn't lost his ability to mix it with the game's young pros.
Despite being diagnosed with cancer in 2012, Hansen was able to grind his way past 64 payers in the $2,100 Limit Stud Event to bank $42,900 and his first SCOOP title.
Following in the footsteps of Hansen, Danzer managed to overcome a stacked final table in Event #12-H.
With six places paid, Danzer had to outlast Alexander Kostritsyn (6th - $5,060), Toby Lewis (5th - $6,900), Dan O'Brien (4th - $9,200) and Shawn Buchanan (3rd - $13,800) before beating "tehopo" heads-up to bank the $34,040 top prize.

Following his recent announcement that he won't be playing any events at this year's WSOP, Doyle Brunson has written a blog to clarify the context of his tweet.
With numerous people wanting to know if he'd retired from poker altogether, Doyle wanted to set the record straight.
In his post he confirmed that he isn't going to "quit playing poker" and that he'll still be grinding until he "can’t sit at the table".
Knowing that he can't maintain the same concentration levels as he used to, Doyle is now content to grind the cash games at his own pace.
Doyle did leave the door open, however, saying that he is "certainly not ruling [the WSOP] out".

After a few days of casual grinding, Viktor "Isildur1" Blom managed another impressive haul in the last 24 hours.
After playing 3,435 hands the Swedish star logged off with a total profit of $991,724. That win was enough to put him top of the annual leaderboard with a profit of $4,515,400.
Feeling the force of Blom in the last 24 hours was Phil Galfond and Sam Trickett.
While the latter dropped $220,909, the former finished the day as the biggest loser with a deficit of $741,097.
