Dates for the 2023 SCOOP announced
Mark your calendars because the 2nd biggest PokerStars series of the year is happening in May.
Dates for the 14th Spring Championship of Online Poker (SCOOP) have been confirmed by PokerStars.
The popular series that has low, medium, and high stakes tiers for every event returns between May 7-31.
The series is for many people the warm-up to the World Series of Poker. Last year the 2022 edition had 316 tournaments, over 1.2 million entries, and more than $96 million in prize pools. Austria's 'WElcomeINnferNO' took down the $10,300 High Main Event for $1.14 million.
No word yet on the schedule. In recent years PokerStars has left this till the last minute because other operators tend to piggyback on the festival by announcing their own Spring series, capitalising on the fact that grinders are committing to a month online.
