EPT Awards Winners and Season 7 Schedule Revealed

Max Lykov has been awarded the title of Player of the Year for Season 6 of the European Poker Tour. Also, the unconfirmed schedule for Season 7 has also been released .

The winners for the sixth PokerStars European Poker Tour Awards were announced at a ceremony held after the conclusion of the Main Event in Monte Carlo recently.

Russian pro Max Lykov heads the list of winners, taking down the Player of the Year title. Lykov earned the award by finishing first in EPT Kyiv, 13th in EPT Snowfest and cashing in 3 other side events throughout the season, American Kevin MacPhee came in a close second.

EPT Berlin champ MacPhee however, did win the Players' Choice Award that was voted for by the players.

Season 7 starts in Tallinn, Estonia

With the conclusion of Season 6, the schedule for the next EPT season has also been revealed. The first leg of the tour is scheduled for August 11-16 in Tallinn, Estonia. The tour will then make stops in locations that include Vilamoura, London, Barcelona, Berlin and San Remo.

The dates for a few events have been reshuffled so they will not be conducted in the same order as in the past season. A stop that has not been revealed is set for the end of October, while there will also be a change in the venue of the Grand Final.
