A mammoth field entered the second starting day of EPT Berlin yesterday, 565 players bought in on Day 1B to create an impressive field of 912 overall.
This makes it the second largest EPT Berlin ever, with a first prize of €880,000.
The leader on day 1B was two-time Players Championship winner Michael Mizrachi, who is one of the few players who could complete the WSOP/WPT/EPT Triple Crown with a win this week in Berlin.
Joining him for Day 2 was a wealth of German and PokerStrategy.com talent including Manig 'swordfish007' Loeser, Khiem 'akia' Nguyen, Tobias 'pokernoob' Reinkemeier, Benny 'psychobenny' Spindler, Marvin 'xcrash154' Rettenmaier and Julian 'jaygatsby' Thomas.
Other big international names making up the 452 players returning for Day 2 include Jake Cody, Sam Grafton, Vanessa Selbst, Theo Jorgensen and Eugene Katchalov.
Lots of big names fell too including Chris Moorman, Fabian 'fabstinho' Quoss, David Williams, Ludovic Lacay, Sebastian Ruthenberg, Luke Schwartz, Toby Lewis, Martin '0piggybank' Finger, Marcel Luske, Pieter de Korver, Mike McDonald, George Danzer, Dario Minieri and David Vamplew.

It is too late to qualify for EPT Berlin, but qualifiers are under way for the biggest event in the EPT calendar, the Grand Final in Monte Carlo.
The €10,000+€600 main event takes place between May 6 and May 12 at the Monte Carlo Bay Hotel & Resort Casino.
There is also a string of side events including a €100,000 Super High Roller event.
Last year Mohsin Charania of America claimed the title and €1,350,000 in prize money.
As always qualifiers are running around the clock at PokerStars, including freerolls, FPP satellites, Steps qualifiers and regular direct qualifiers with buy-ins of €215, €320 and €530.
