EPT – Final Table in Prague

The final table of the EPT will take place in Prague. Surprisingly, Adrian Koy is out. John Strassmann and Markus Golser are among the nine finalists.

Adrian Koy, temporarily the chip leader of the tournament, didn't make it to the final table. After a very good run, he finished in 16th place, winning €15,200. Another German, Sebastian Zinc, made it to 11th place. He was awarded €27,800 for finishing just two places from the final table.

The 32 remaining players started the tournament very quickly. Indeed, within two hours the field was almost halved. The first player to go was Nicky Goodall.

The poker Gods smiled to Juha Lauttamus, who made a straight flush in a monster pot holding . Involved in the pot were Mikael Norinder from Sweden with , and Tommy Pavlicek with . The flop came , giving Lauttamus the straight flush, Pavlicek two pairs and Norinder top pair. The turn was the , trapping Pavlicek and Norinder, who now had a full house and trips, respectively. The former went home while Lauttamus climbed up the leader board.

Markus Golser was the one who put an end to Adrian Koy's run. Koy held against the Austrian's . The board came . Golser called Koy's all-in, putting himselft temporarily above the million mark in chips, becoming the chip leader. He finished the day seventh in chips with 350'000.

The chip leader is the Swede Mikael Norinder with over a million chips, followed closely by Frenchman Arnaud Mattern. The local favourite Dagomir Palovic is in third place, just a few chips ahead of Norwegian Kristian Kjondal.
