EPT Moscow Moved To Kiev
Due to the recent law changes in Russia, it has become impossible for the EPT stop in Moscow to be held. Consequently, the EPT Moscow has been moved to Kiev, Ukraine.
The PokerStars EPT Russian Open in Moscow has been moved to Kiev, Ukraine due to the recent changes in poker law, as Russia no longer considers poker a sport. Consequently, the title of this EPT stop has also been changed to EPT Kiev Sports Poker Championship.
Kiev will be the host of the tournament from 18th to 23rd of August with the event featuring a €5,000 buy-in. The players who have already won their seats to the EPT Moscow via online qualifiers on PokerStars will have their tickets rescheduled to Kiev.
PokerStars has also announced that the players are able to change their EPT Kiev package for a seat at some other upcoming EPT event or they can opt to take the cash equivalent instead.
