EPT San Remo: The Bubble Looms Large
Just 194 players remain in the field after Day 2 of the PokerStars EPT San Remo . With just 10 eliminations before the cash, Day 3 will start with the money bubble being very much in play.
With 1,240 participants, and each paying a €5,000 buy-in, the total prize pool for the PokerStars European Poker Tour at San Remo stands at just over €6 million. A total of 184 players will go home in the money, while the winner stands to pocket €1.25 million.
Of the famous faces that are still left, Bertrand "Elky" Grospellier remains among the chip leaders in ninth place, while EPT Snowfest winner Allan Baekke follows close behind. Jason Mercier and Thomas Bichon will also return on Day 3, but Lex Veldhuis and Dario Minieri have both hit the rails.
