Epic comeback for Hamilton to win EPT London
Another great 'chip and a chair' victory took place last night at the returning EPT London for UK player Ian Hamilton.
749 entries for the first EPT London since 2014, which made it the second biggest incarnation of this event - well worth the wait.
UK pro Ian Hamilton produced one of the great short stack comebacks seen in the EPT to take it down for £664,400.
He overcame a tough final table that included WSOPE Main Event champion Jack Sinclair heads-up. Sinclair had a monster chip lead but Hamilton grinded away at him until he was champion.
Sinclair is one of the best players in the country having also made the WSOP Main Event final table. He is getting used to runner-up finishes, however, as he also came 2nd in the Estrellas Poker Tour Main Event at EPT Barcelona back in August.
