FTOPS XVI Kicks Off
The sixteenth edition of the Full Tilt Online Poker Series is set to start. This time around, it will feature 30 tournaments for a guaranteed prize pool of $18 million, and includes three brand new Rush Poker tournaments.
The hunt for the coveted FTOPS gold jerseys is now on at Full Tilt Poker. The first event is scheduled to start at 18:00 GMT on April 23 and the 30 event series will run until May 2. A total of $18 million in guaranteed prize money is up for gabs.
All winners of FTOPS XVI, along with those from the past year, will also be entered into an exclusive Tournament of Champions. The winner of this event, which will take place on May 8, will win a seat to the 2010 World Series of Poker main event.
Three Rush Poker tournaments
It has also been revealed that the previously unannounced events 6, 13 and 29 will be in the newly introduced Rush Poker tournament format. The details of these three events are as follows:
- Event #6 - $250K Guarantee, $200+$16 Rush Poker Turbo NLHE Tournament
- Event #13 - $200K Guarantee, $240 + $16 Rush Poker PLO Knockout Tournament
- Event #29 - $500K Guarantee, $150 + $13 Rush Poker NLHE Rebuy Tournament
