Foxwoods Poker Classic: Day 3 Results

The remaining 59 players returned for Day 3 of the $10,000 WPT
Championship. In the end, only 17 of them survived through the day,
including a man who began his journey from the very bottom.

Lee Markholt started out as 59th out of 59 players, but in the end he
managed to climb to the top of the leaderboard. Another player who had
a good day was Barry Greenstein, he continued his great run and
finished the day with a seizable stack.

WPT Foxwoods champion jonathanlittle exited the tournament early on,
during Level 11. His final hand of the tournament featured
Joe Raposa raising from the BU, Charlie Large calling from the SB and
jonathanlittle moving all-in from the BB.

Raposa folded and Large made the call with . jonathanlittle turned over and with the board revealing , his run in the tournament was over.

Both Steve Brecher and Mike Matusow (pictured right) got eliminated during Level 12 of
the play. Matusow was a favourite with his pocket tens against Charles
Marchese's A-K, but the board brought an ace which was enough to send
Matusow home, as both players had nearly identical stacks.

Shortly after Matusow's departure, Brecher went with up against David
Williams who held . Both players caught a king on the flop but an
eight on the turn gave Williams the lead and eliminated Brecher from
the tournament.
