Foxwoods WPT: Days 1a and 1b
The Foxwood World Poker Tour Days 1a and 1b are over, with Jason "JP OSU" Potter and Phil Ivey being their respective chip leaders.
The World Poker Tour at the Foxwoods Resort Casino in Mashantucket, Connecticut
kicked off on the US election day, with Day 1a gathering only 162 players, compared to last year's 575. Day 1b saw more players coming, as 250 people arrived and sat at the tables.
The Foxwoods World Poker Tour Finals take place from November 5 to November 11, with a total of $3,876,508 in cash prizes for the top 50 players. The winner of the entire event gets to leave the Casino $1,120,310 richer.
