Full Tilt expands the Heads-Up Championship

Due to the huge rush for the most expensive online tournament of all time, the $25,000 Heads-Up Championship, Full Tilt Poker decided to increase the maximum number of participants to 128.

Already a week before the start of the monster tournament, all 64 starting places were sold out. Full Tilt Poker thus decided to increase the maximum number of participants to 128 players. However, Full Tilt sticks to its motto and will only stage the tournament with a perfect "KO participant number".

Should there be no 128 players at the end of the registration phase, the number of participants will be reduced to 64 players. Again the principle counts: First come, first served. If e.g. only 100 players sign up, only the first 64 players will be able to participate.

The prize money for first place would amount to over $1,000,000 with 128 participants, provided that the payout structure won't be changed.
