High Stakes Action: Isildur1 Takes on Ziigmund

In the most recent round of high stakes action at the Full Tilt Poker tables, Swedish player Isildur1 sat down and played against some of the regular names, including Ilari "Ziigmund" Sahamies and Cole South.

Since the World Series of Poker is keeping many of the poker pros busy, the nosebleed stakes at Full Tilt Poker have been missing some action. However, Monday saw the mysterious Swede Isildur1 make his return, as he logged on and went on to play at the $100/$200 Pot Limit Omaha tables.

$450k up, then $200k down

According to Highstakesdb, Isildur1 first took player Observer84 aka fisheye for a profit of over $175k spread across approximately 1,000 hands of NLHE $100/$200. After that, the Swede went heads-up against Ziigmund in PLO $100/$200 and $200/$400.

At one point, Isildur1 was up $275k against the Finnish pro, setting his overall winnings around the $450k mark. Soon after, Ziigmund managed to recover the deficit and eventually walked away with $150k from his opponent.

Isildur1 then went on and played Cole South, but lost a further $147k in approximately 300 hands, followed by a $50k loss to various other opponents. At the end of this session, Isildur1 went from a profit of $450k to a $200k loss.
