High Stakes Round-up: Kyllönen Up 7 Figures in Feb, Galfond & Blom Return
This week in the world of nosebleed cash games: a PokerStrategy.com coach is the biggest winner of the year so far, two big names return to action and we have a very expensive misread of a hand in Macau.
The High Stakes Round-up is a weekly summary of all the goings-on in the world of high stakes cash games. Find out what the rail birds are talking about, who the top winners and losers are, plus catch the biggest pots of the week.
Jens Kyllönen up over a million last month
PokerStrategy.com coach JensKyllonen continues to crush the online high stakes world, ending February as the biggest winner on PokerStars. He ended the month $1,164,309 in profit after a dominant 29 days at the high stakes PLO tables.
This also makes him the money leader for 2012 so far, with a profit of $1,664,304.
This week he spoke to HighStakesDB.com about his success, commenting that his best game was 6-max PLO:
"I consider myself a lot stronger in 6-max than in heads-up and that is also where I've put most of my volume in in the last 3 years. The problem with HU is also that only the best players will play me, while others sit out, and I don't see the edge either way being very big so it just becomes a waste of time. What often happens as well nowadays is that the one willing to stay and play HU if a game breaks is the one who ends up paying the extra big blind.
"I play on most European sites as well, so I can almost always find some sort of high stakes ring game action which will give me a better hourly rate, which is still what I play for, not to keep the railers happy. That being said, I don't see anything wrong with challenging yourself every now and then and playing someone good HU. I do this sometimes but fairly rarely."
He also commented that he is interested in playing in Macau this year.

Isildur1 back with a huge session
He tends to disappear from the high stakes tables regularly, but whenever he returns, he returns with a bang. Viktor "Isildur1" Blom rejoined the high stakes games on PokerStars on Thursday and booked a $577k win in a 10-hour session.
This more than makes up for a bad February, which saw him down over $300k. He is now almost even for the year, which puts him as the outright leader in the profit rankings for March, but it is going to be a long month and nothing is certain where Blom is concerned.

Galfond also returns to the high stakes felt
Another fan favourite returned to the felt this week, as Phil "MrSweets28" Galfond came back to the action following his huge downswing earlier this year. He has already booked a $300k profit over the last week, which has put a dent in the nearly $700k downswing he incurred at the start of 2012.

Ole-Kristian Nergård mucks winning hand in massive live pot
Hotshot young Norwegian player Ole-Kristian Nergård has joined the big game in Macau, though has been left a little lighter in the pocket and a little redder in the face. The 19 year old lost his largest ever pot this week - after mucking the best hand.
Another high stakes star, Andrew Feldman, tweeted details of the hand:
