Ipoker Network Revenues Up By 26% Since 2007
Ipoker, home to Titan Poker, has released first quarter profits for 2009 and the figures show revenue is up 26%. Compared to last quarter of 2008, its revenues are up by 3%.
This is an increase of 26% on the same period in 2007 and up 3% on the last quarter of 2008. The pattern then is continued growth in the continually popular poker platform.
Pro-forma poker revenues, adjusted historically for like for like comparison, show a 7% increase in the first quarter of 2009 on the previous quarter.
The company, which most recently signed William Hill Poker, said in its interim statement that, “The William Hill integration is proceeding well with migration of the William Hill poker business to Playtech on March 19th, earlier than planned.”

The company launched its dedicated Italian network in the second week of January. It said, “Performance of the Italian poker network is exceeding management expectations.” Overall being gross income at Playtech was up 14 percent in the first quarter of 2009 compared to the final quarter of 2008, to €36 million.
