'Isildur1' drops $500K in September
Blom, Sulsky and Mercier all deep in the red for the month, with Jens 'Jeans89' Kyllönen the main beneficiary.
After the highs of an August that saw him rampage to a $2.7M profit, September has proven a sobering experience for online poker demigod Viktor 'Isildur1' Blom.
The popular Swede, whose recent return to the nosebleeds has reinvigorated the state of the games, suffered from a million dollar downswing mid-September, and - even after clawing back $900K the following week - ended just shy of $500K in the red for the month.
However, he did manage to win $210K during a single day's work this week, and remains the biggest overall tracked winner of the year by quite some margin with $1,436,488 in combined profit.
Elsewhere, Jens 'Jeans89' Kyllönen was the biggest tracked winner in September, netting a cool $635K. He also recently hit the $5M profit mark in PokerStars Pot Limit Omaha cash games.
