James Gunn posts Suicide Squad poker chips

Suicide Squad poker sets
Despite the fact that the first film was a stinker, people seem quite excited by the trailer for the new Suicide Squad movie now that director James Gunn is at the helm.
In what may be a cynical attempt to entice the sleeping giant that is the poker player superhero fan cohort of movie goers, Gunn took to Twitter last week to reveal a series of poker chips to accompany the film.
Presumably we will get some new ones posted as the release date gets sooner. Whether poker players will be able to (or want to) buy the set remains to be seen.

KidPoker vs The Poker Brat Round 2
To the surprise of nobody, Daniel Negreanu has confirmed he will face Phil Hellmuth in a rematch of their High Stakes Duel on May 5, with each man buying in for $100,000.
Last week both men took to the No Gamble, No Future podcast to discuss the key hands in their first round match, which Hellmuth won.
$1 million BLAST jackpot
Three players turned a $100 BLAST buy-in at 888poker into a $1 million prize pool earlier this month.
'aatorblood13' came third for $100,000 and 'ayemaxx08' came 2nd for $200,000 (888poker Lottery SNGs have laddering payouts for their biggest jackpots, unlike some sites where 2nd and 3rd get the same amount).
That left 'Mikaxe' of Canada to take it down for $700,000 - one of the biggest prizes ever won at 888poker and it all took less than ten minutes.
Sick SCOOP bluff catch
There are too many big results in SCOOP this month to even begin reporting on, but you might appreciate this hand which was live streamed.
Joshua 'slayerv1fan' Hoesel came 2nd in a SCOOP PKO Main Event last night live on stream for over $97,000.
