Jeremy Ausmus wins record breaking Triton event
Another year, another stellar win from Jeremy Ausmus, and another record field in Jeju.
2024 was defined by Jeremy Ausmus bossing the PokerGO Super High Roller scene, winning the PGT Leaderboard and the PGT Championship.
It's early days but maybe 2025 will be about his performance on the rival Triton tour, after a record win.
For the second time in less than a week, the Triton series in Jeju has broken its own attendance record. The $25,000 event attracted a staggering 391 entries.
Ausmus was the one to take it down for $1,892,000, one of his biggest career scores, after defeating Zhou Quan heads-up. The final table also included YouTuber Alexander 'WolfgangPoker' Seibt.
Speaking to reporters in Jeju he said: “It’s a lot for me to come overseas for a series, but I saw how big Jeju was last year and thought, ‘I’ve gotta go next time.'”
