Joe Ingram negotiates three Platinum Passes
We highlight some of the stories you may have missed, including the UFC partners with a poker room and the poker wife of the year.
Ingram bags three passes
It was something of a Christmas Miracle last week thanks to Joe Ingram and PokerStars.
You may have been following Arlie Shaban's 12 Labours of Arlie, where he had to complete 12 challenges to win a Platinum Pass. His final challenge was to convince long-time PokerStars critic to also accept a $30,000 pass.
A move which was genius or evil from PokerStars depending on your perspective, but Ingram did something pretty special, agreeing to a pass on condition that a third player who had caught his eye also could get a pass on Christmas Day. Here is Ingram himself to explain the rest:

PokerStars partner with the UFC
All in all it was a very big week last week for PokerStars, who announced a significant partnership with the Ultimate Fighting Championship.
PokerStars will have their branding in the Octagon and are the first official poker partner of the UFC.
Last weekend fight fans got to see the PokerStars branding at UFC 232, which included one of the sport's biggest upsets when Amanda Nunes knocked out Cris Cyborg.
