Kevin Martin launches self-funded poker reality show
More innovative, new content from KMart as today sees the debut of Poker Wars, which blends poker and reality TV.

Poker Wars debuts today at 10PM CET on Kevin's YouTube and Twitch channels and streams up until May 24.
Not a great deal is known about the show yet, but it combines poker and reality TV. The contestants are competing for $50,000, and the first poker players to participate include Jon Pardy, Abby Merk, Hesham “Kiero Loves You” Elkhouly, Haven Taylor, Jake Straus and Ali Kebritchi.
"100% self funded"
According to PokerNews, the show will combine live poker and online poker, with audience members being able to play against the contestants online as the show is taking place.
Martin is no stranger to reality TV, being both a Big Brother Canada winner and a Game of Gold contestant. This is, however, one of the first instances of a bona fide reality TV show being self-funded by a poker player.
This is not the first innovative content Martin has produced in the Poker space either. He famously took part in a 24-hour IRL stream, as well as a torturous project where he couldn't stop until he dealt himself a Royal Flush.
