Limit Championship goes to Rob Hollink

Rob Hollink won the $10,000 World Championship Limit Hold'em tournament (Event 30). He received his first bracelet and prize money of $496,931.

Battle of the Pros

218 participants faced each other in Event 30, generating a prize pool of $2,049,200. 27 finished in the money. Many pros gathered at the tables during the three days of the tourney. Even before Day 3, giants like Jennifer Harman, Phil Ivey and Todd Brunson dropped out of the race. The final table was also impressive, having, amongst others, Andy Bloch and JC Tran, who both battled for their first bracelet.

No second Bracelet for Katz

Aaron Katz started the last day as chip leader. At that time, he was the only one with a bracelet. His hopes for a second one were shattered though when he was sent to the rail by Jerrod Ankenman on rank 4.

Hollink and Ankenman

Ankenman and Hollink almost took turns sending the other opponents to the rail, and finally had their duel in the finale of the last two. Bloch
(Rank 7) and Tran (Rank 5) fell victim to Hollink who had come to the final table with the second biggest stack.
