London durrrr Challenge: First Opponent Revealed

Tom "durrrr" Dwan's first opponent in his upcoming live HU challenge has been confirmed. It will be Sammy "Any Two" George, a fearless player from London.

While most pros were chasing gold bracelets during this year's WSOP, Tom "durrrr" Dwan (pictured right) was discussing with Eddie Harn, the director of Matchroom Sport, a new "durrrr Challenge" in which durrrr would go up against four different opponents in a series of HU matches with the buy-in set to $500,000.

Each of durrrr's opponents will be able to choose between PLO and NL Hold'em, with the HU clash running until they play 500 hands or one of the players goes broke. The blinds will be $500/$1,000.

Sammy "Any Two" George steps up

The first opponent has now been confirmed, as it will be Sammy "Any Two" George. He is a businessman from London who has become famous or rather notorious for his fearless style, which could be also said for durrrr.

However, there is a method to durrrr's madness and those who have seen George in action are certain that durrrr will have an edge over him in NL Hold'em. The variance is much higher in PLO and should George choose that game, he might have better chances of winning against one of the best poker players out there.

George was excited about the upcoming match against durrrr:
